During the St. Petersburg Economic Forum, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Olga Golodets asked Google Vice President for Emerging Markets, Europe, the Middle East and Africa Mohammed Gavdat to teach him how to attract qualified workers. In a conversation with a Google representative, Golodets complained that the profits of Russian companies are not invested in investments, but flow abroad, while cost reduction leads to the loss of highly qualified personnel.

“The problems we face with investments in the economy are related to the outflow of capital, and not to the amount of profit that we have today, because purely financial resources are available, they were available in previous years. We were able to form the Reserve Fund, the National Welfare Fund The fact is that the funds we receive in the form of profit are not capitalized into investments,” the Deputy Prime Minister explained.

As the agency notes, earlier the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation announced that since the beginning of the year, income tax revenues to the budget have increased by 19-20%, and this may be due to a reduction in unreasonably inflated costs. According to Golodets, this leads to personnel losses.
