The head of the military-civil administration of the Donetsk region, Pavel Zhebrivsky, did not exclude the power operation to return the occupied territories of the region, if the pro-Russian militants continue to violate the Minsk agreements. The governor made such a statement on Saturday in an interview with France 24 and Le Figaro.

If this will continue to continue, the governor continued, it is necessary to introduce the blockade of the occupied territories for a short time, and then use the "actually power option to restore the control of Ukrainian authorities over the entire Donetsk region." The meaning of the short -term blockade, according to Zhebrivsky, is to demonstrate the residents of the districts occupied by militants that they will not receive assistance from Russia and that they can only count on a single Ukrainian state for life.

At the same time, the official emphasized that the issues of introducing a blockade, as well as a power operation in the region, are the competence of the central authorities in Kyiv, and not the regional administration.
