In Kyiv, on Monday night, explosions occurred at two branches of Sberbank of Russia located in the areas of the city remote from each other - on Kurenevka and on Anna Akhmatova Street on the left bank. As the metropolitan Ministry of Internal Affairs clarifies , the reports of both incidents entered the police at the beginning of the second night with an interval of about 5 minutes.

There are no victims and victims. The buildings received minor damage - in both cases, the blast wave damaged windows, entrance doors, in one of the branches - also a sign with the name of the bank.

On the facts of incidents, the regional police departments have opened criminal cases. They are investigated in part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (hooliganism using weapons), which provides for 3 to 7 years of the colony. The detention of the suspects has not yet been reported.

In early February , the department of Privatbank belonging to the oligarch Igor Kolomoisky, who at that time was the governor of the Dnipropetrovsk region, was blown up in Odessa. None of the people were injured. The explosive wave knocked out part of the glasses in the windows of residential buildings within a radius of 20 meters, as well as in a car parked next door.
