It is reported by Kommersant . According to the director of the theater Andrei Shishkin, who previously held the post of chief conductor Pavel Klinichev will continue to cooperate with the theater as an invited conductor.
Oliver von Donanya (b. 1955) headed the opera of the Slovak National Theater in Bratislava, the opera of the Moravian-Silesian National Theater in Ostrava, was the main invited conductor of the Slovak Radio and the Slovak Sinfonietta Slovak Orchestra.
Last year, Oliver von Donanya, as a musical director and conductor, carried out at the Yekaterinburg Opera and Ballet the production of the opera Philip Glass “Satyagrakh”, which the jury of the opera prize Casta Diva declared the event of the year.
In September 2016, the Yekaterinburg Opera and Ballet Theater will open its 105th season by the Russian premiere of the opera of Moses Weinberg Passenger, whose conductor also acts Oliver von Donanya.
