It is worth noting that you can install office programs only on smartphones, the amount of RAM of which is 1 GB or more.
In general, the functionality of all three application for smartphones does not differ from their tablet versions - all the main changes affected only the interface, which was adapted for small screens. The developers also took into account some wishes of users who tested the technical versions of the programs. In total, according to Microsoft, the program was attended by owners of more than 1900 different smartphones from 83 countries.
Users of Android applications will be able to edit documents on the go, as well as read colleagues and write their own notes. At the same time, some additional functions have been preserved in the applications, access to which can only be obtained with a paid subscription to Office 365.
According to Microsoft's plans, the new mobile Office will be installed by default on smartphones of more than 30 manufacturers from around the world, including Samsung, LG, Sony and a number of other companies.
