On June 25, the Zheleznodorozhny City Court of the Moscow Region recognized the conditions of detention of Ildar Dadin in the Yakimanka police station as violating the provisions of the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms prohibiting torture, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment. This was reported to OVD-Info by the lawyer of the Public Verdict Foundation, Nikolai Zboroshenko, who represents Dadin’s interests. Dadin, left at the OVD overnight, complained about the lack of a personal sleeping place, proper bed linen, hot meals, and the overhead light being constantly on.
Previously, similar violations were made by the Zheleznodorozhny Court in the Basmanny Department of Internal Affairs.
