The main prize of the Moscow International Film Festival went to the film “Losers”

The winner of the Grand Prix of the Moscow International Film Festival was the film by the Bulgarian director Ivaylo Hristov "The Losers". Frederike Aspek, who directed the film "Rosita" (Denmark), was recognized as the best director.

The award for the best male role was received by the actor Yerkebulan Dairov (film "Barrier", Kazakhstan). The MIFF Prize for Best Actress was awarded to actress Elena Lyadova, who played in Andrey Proshkin's film Orleans.

The chairman of the jury, the French director Jean-Jacques Annaud, when presenting the Christov prize, noted that the jury was surprisingly friendly. “It was very easy for all of us to talk to each other, and we quickly agreed,” he said. Hristov, in turn, thanked "all the losers who made the film with him." Earlier, the prize for the film "Losers" was awarded by the international jury of the Federation of Film Clubs of Russia, he also received the prize of Russian film critics.
