The Perm region is one of the few regions lucky enough to have two research universities. This means that not only purely educational, but also scientific activities are carried out at these sites. Of course, Perm universities have been involved in science before, thanks to which the region has powerful potential. But now there is a technical base for conducting research: equipment, laboratories. In addition, students can now participate in research. Moreover, some studies may ultimately become real discoveries. Even more interesting is what will happen as a result of the development of new specialties by universities that have traditionally been considered humanitarian and technical. Now they will train pharmacists and biotechnologists and develop new medical products.

It must be said that not only universities are expanding the boundaries of the educational function. New standards are gradually being implemented at all levels. For example, today Perm schoolchildren have the opportunity to see in practice what they study at their desks: go to an enterprise and learn about a new specialty. Today's schoolchild is even given the right to choose in-depth study of subjects that interest him. Thus, an individual approach to each child is declared, aimed at unlocking his potential. If educational institutions really succeed in switching to a new learning model, then many discoveries await us in the future.
