A criminal case has been opened against two students of the St. Petersburg University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs; second-year student Andrei Lisitsky and fourth-year student Alexey Yakovlev are suspected of committing robbery (clauses “a”, “c”, “d” of Part 2 of Article 161 of the Criminal Code), reported the city on Tuesday prosecutor's office
The crime was committed at 23:00 on March 26 this year. According to investigators, Litsitsky and Yakovlev learned that a large sum of money could be kept at their friend’s home. The accomplices “waited for the city resident to return home, introduced themselves to him as police officers, after which they illegally entered the apartment, using handcuffs, and stole money from him in the amount of 46 thousand 500 rubles.”
The students of the University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, who were detained after committing a crime, were ordered by the court to be taken into custody.
