A sword punishing a femid

The Office for the Investigation of Particularly important cases of the Main Investigation Department of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine sent a case against a certain judge of the Solomensky district court of Kyiv, during the revolution of the dignity of the Euromaidan who appointed criminal cases, a preventive measure in the form of a prince in jail. This was reported on the website of the supervisory authority without indicating the name of the accused. Part 2 of Article 375 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (making a deliberately unlawful decision in personal interests or with causing grave consequences), the judge threatens from 5 to 8 years of colony.

What measure of restraint was chosen by the accused, the prosecutor's office also does not specify.

In the first weeks of the revolution, a number of Euromaidan people on various accusations were in jail. In early December 2013, then President Viktor Yanukovych promised that parts of activists who fell into a pre -trial detention center would soften the preventive measure. This promise was fulfilled. At the same time, criminal cases against the liberated Maidanites did not stop.

Immediately after the victory of the revolution, all the arrested activists were released from the pre -trial detention center, and cases against them were stopped on rehabilitating grounds. The latter was released on February 23, 2014 Victor Smaly.
