The authorities trained two thousand police officers, write the media (although Mustafa Nayyem deputy speaks of two and a half thousand). Only 38 of the police used to work in the Ministry of Internal Affairs. All the rest are recruits. The average age of employees is 25 years.

On July 4, 500 people came out to patrol the city - 400 of them on patrol cars, a hundred more on foot. In the first night of duty, police officers registered 15 traffic accidents and detained two suspects in theft. The police received about 1800 violations per day per day.

The TV presenter Anton Mukharsky told Facebook that the police ordered by his wife reassured the “traditional policemen” who rushed under the windows.

After the presentation of the new form, many jokes appeared on social networks. For example, this: “Those who behave well will arrest good beautiful police officers. And those who behave poorly will come to the bobbin. ”

Or this: “You see sexual policemen. Subscribe at a speed of 100 km/h. You return with a guilty ... profit! "

One of the users proposed to open a donut in the center of Kyiv and make discounts for cops (as in a movie).

Each policeman has his own token with a number by which he can be identified. The Ukrainian authorities hope that this will reduce the number of abuses by the police. In Russia, however, this did not work - on mass shares, police simply hide the tokens.

So far, the new police will work only in Kyiv. In line - Kharkov, Lviv, Odessa and Lutsk.
