In South Korea, two more patients aged 50 and 70 years have died from the complications caused by the coronavirus of the Middle Eastern respiratory syndrome (Mers). As reported by Yonhap , citing the Ministry of Health and Social Support, the fatal outcome from the virus has been recorded for the first time in eight days. The first case of the MERS disease on the territory of South Korea was recorded on May 20. The mortality rate of the disease reaches 40%.

The disease begins, like a conventional respiratory infection, accompanied by fever, cough and pneumonia, but quickly acquires a severe current, affecting the lungs.
