The Central District Court of Novosibirsk was a lawsuit to protect consumers' rights to the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theater (Ngatoib). In it, the lawyer of Inessa Ryabinin demands to show her the opera of Wagner Tangeiser in the original, TASS reports with reference to the press service of the court.

"In support of the claim of Ryabinin I.Yu. indicates that she acquired a Tangaiser opera ticket, but in fact she was shown a performance, the actions and characters of which did not coincide with the original plot of the opera declared to the show. The plaintiff asks the defendant to carry out the show of the Tangaiser opera in the original," the court said.

The issue of accepting the lawsuit for production will be resolved within the five -day period established by the Civil Code.

Recall that the premiere of Tangiar on the opera of the same name by Richard Wagner was held in Novosibirsk on December 20, 2014. Director Timofei Kulyabin transferred the action to modernity. The play, in particular, tells about the early years of the life of Jesus Christ.

The title party was performed by the leading soloist of the opera troupe of the Royal Theater of Kopengagen Stig Andersen. The Latvian Andris Rubikis conducted the production.

In late February, according to the statement of the Metropolitan of Novosibirsk and Berd, the prosecutor’s office started administrative cases about the desecration of religious symbols against the director of the opera Tangeyer in the Ngatoib Timofei Kulyabin and the director of the Novosibirsk Theater Boris Maddrich. The Investigative Committee began checking the Tangazer under a criminal article on freedom of conscience and religious associations.

The “Tangayzer case” stirred up the whole theater world of the country, the directors and heads of theaters Oleg Tabakov, Mark Zakharov, Kirill Serebrennikov, Evgeny Mironov, Alexey Borodin, conductor Vladimir Yurovsky, actress Chulpan Khamatova, musician Boris Grezhabov, sculptor Zurab, spoke in defense of the directors. Tsereteli, Galina Volcheuz, published a statement with a request to restore Madzrich as a resignation of the Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinsky.

Experts did not find insulting Christian symbols in the opera. On March 10, the court in Novosibirsk decided to terminate the proceedings against Kulyabin and Mezdrich due to the lack of the composition of the offense.

Mezdrich, by decision of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, was dismissed from his post. His place was taken by the head of the Mikhailovsky Theater in St. Petersburg, a well-known entrepreneur Vladimir Kekhman.

The Khudruk of the Moscow Theater "Lenkom" Mark Zakharov suggested Kulyabin to put any dramatic performance from him. The general director of the Bolshoi Theater Vladimir Urin also made a similar proposal. In the new season of the theater, the opera Donitnitti "Don Paskuale" will be presented in the production of Kulyabin.
