The head of the judicial and inspectorate committee of the RFU, Nikolai Levnikov, said that in the new season in the matches of the championship of Russia will be used an endangered spray. It was planned to use it last season, but then the Russian Football Union (RFU) did not find money for purchase.
“The department has already purchased the disappearing sprays, and they will be used in the championship,” TASS quotes Levnikov.
The information was confirmed by the head of the Department of Judgeing and Inspecting the RFU Valentin Ivanov. "Sprays will definitely be used in the championship matches, but we have not yet decided about the Super Cup," he said.
The meeting for the Super Cup, which will meet the St. Petersburg Zenit and the Moscow Lokomotiv, will be held on July 12. The first match of the Russian Championship is scheduled for July 17.
Recall that the disappearing spray was widely known during the 2014 World Cup. Arbitrators use it during penalties to designate the line, for which the wall players cannot go out, as well as to indicate the point from which the blow should be made. White foam is clearly visible on the green lawn for a minute, then it evaporates.
