Medvedev asked to pay forward import substitution for OPK from NATO and EU

During a meeting in Kubinka, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev instructed the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Defense to resolve the issue of advancing 80% of the programs for import substitution of military products NATO and the EU. This was reported on the website of the Cabinet.

According to Medvedev’s instructions, departments must develop a project to advance the event to import substitution of products of NATO and EU member countries, which is used in domestic weapons, military and special equipment.

The order was given for a period until the end of July 2015.

“The general goal is to ensure that the reasons for pride in our defense -industrial complex is as much as possible, so you need to keep all the problems in the focus,” Medvedev noted.
