Today, July 9, at a press conference in Moscow, a “long list” of works is announced, admitted to participation in the 2015 Russian Bouquer competition for the best novel in Russian.

“The jury faced a wide range of various literary techniques, traditions and beliefs. For access to the short list, texts representing large areas of modern literature-fiction and realism, fiction and confessional prose, ”commented Long List the chairman of the jury of the Russian Boker, prose writer Andrei Hair.
In addition to him, the jury this season is a prose writer, publicist Denis Gutsko, philologist, linguist Maxim Krongauz, poet, literary critic Alexei Mashevsky and critic Valeria Pustovaya.
The “short list” of the six finalists of the jury will announce on October 9, the name of the laureate will be named on December 3.
Since 1992, the Russian Booker literary prize has been awarded for the best novel in Russian, first published last year. Last year, Vladimir Sharov received the award for the novel “Return to Egypt”.
