Chichvarkin can lead Ukrnafta

The founder of Euroset Evgeny Chichvarkin, who lives in the UK, can lead Ukrnaft. The decision on this can be made at a meeting of shareholders, reports RBC-Ukraine with reference to a source in the company.

In June, Naftogaz announced a competition for the post of head of Ukrnafta. The day before it became known that the commission determined two candidates for the post of chapter.

The Committee under the Government will choose one of them on July 10. After the candidacy for the position of the company’s applicant will be submitted for consideration and approval of shareholders at the meeting, which will be held on July 22.

In April, Chichvarkin said that he could open a business in Ukraine if there is no corruption in the country. “If there is something for which people risked freedom and life, and European values ​​(Western, in fact normal) will still win, and in order to import something or take something out, you will not have to pay due to the fact that you turned around not there, then the question will be relevant,” Chichvarkin said.

Chichvarkin - an entrepreneur, co -founder and former co -co -owner of the Euroset Cellular Technical Communications network, for some time was the leader of the Moscow branch of the Union of Right Forces. Since the end of 2008, he has been living in the UK.

In 2008, a criminal case was taken against Chichvarkin in Russia. Chichvarkin, Boris Levin, Andrei Ermilov and five more Euroset employees were accused of involvement in the abduction of the former forwarder of the company Andrei Vlasin and the extortion of him a large amount of money. According to the investigation, Boris Levin and Andrei Ermilov detained in September 2008 stole Vlaskin in 2003, suspecting him of the theft of large batches of phones, and forced to compensate for the damage.

In January 2009, in the framework of the same case, the court authorized the arrest of Chichvarkin, who was abroad at that moment. In March, Chichvarkin, as the organizer of the abduction of Vlasin, was put on the international wanted list.

In 2011, the Investigative Committee officially stopped the criminal prosecution of Chichvarkin, but the entrepreneur refused to return to Russia.
