Actor Omar Sharif died

The Egyptian actor Omar Sharif died at the age of 83. It is reported by Sky News with reference to his agent. A message about the death of the actor also distributed Al-Arabia.

According to Sky News, the Sharif died in a hospital in Cairo from a heart attack. In May 2015, it became known that the actor diagnosed Alzheimer's disease.

• Omar Sharif gained worldwide fame in 1962, starring in the film "Lawrence of Arabi", which received seven Oscars. The actor played the role of Sharif Ali in this picture and was nominated for her for the American Film Academy Award. Sharif did not receive an Oscar, but was awarded the Golden Globe Award for this role.
