From July 10 to July 20, the fourth experimental player of the visual arts “Cranberry Jam” will be held in Komi. This year he will again change the location: artists will gather the creative base of the Republican Union of Writers in the town of Lemu. Last year, the “cranberries” took place on the base “desired” on the Propolar Urals near Inta. The curator of the project, associate professor of the department of decorative and applied art of the Faculty of Arts of Syktyvkar State University , Angela Primnova, told about this at a press conference.
This year, the openier will be held in an expanded composition: among the participants in the project, photographers, multimedia artists, illustrators, musicians, poets and artists in the broad sense of the word.
- The idea of the openier does not change, the openier is a kind of artistic experiment in the field of various arts. This is not a classic player where we simply draw, this year this is the idea of a creative cottage, ”said Angela Primanova.
In addition, the innovation of this “cranberries” will be a concert that will take place if the weather allows.
-Most likely, these will be some experiments, the consequences of the activity of the openier. We will be charged with emotions, feel the atmosphere and try to create products that will be made up of the atmosphere to the maximum that will reign, ”the musician Leonid Nesterenko shared his plans.
- This is the third time here, and I like it in Syktyvkar, I have never been outside the city. Nature for the Komi Republic is very important, and I am interested in the contrast between man and nature and how they coexist, ”said the member of the openier from Italy Filippo Zambon.
The Cranberry program, according to the organizers, also means a trip to the festival of blacksmithing Kort-Aka in the village of Cortkeros, as well as a visit to the artist Yuri Filippovsky who lives and is engaged in creativity in the village of Razgort.
Anyone will be able to visit “Cranberry Jam” on July 17 and 19. From Syktyvkar to Lemu walks a regular bus. Artists will present the results of the openier at the exhibition at the Center for Cultural Initiatives "Ugor" on July 24.
