More than 100 citizens of Ukraine were detained in the Pskov region

In the city of Nevel, the Pskov region, Russian border guards detained 20 minibuses, in which more than 100 citizens of Ukraine were traveling. This was reported by UNIAN with reference to an unnamed source at the Embassy of Ukraine in Moscow.

Most of the detainees - immigrants from the Ivano -Frankivsk region, explained the diplomat. From the Volyn region, they legally entered Belarus, and from there to Russia. They were heading to Petersburg. At the same time, the interlocutor of the agency added, since Belarus and Russia are both included in the Customs Union, visitors were also legally in Russia.
