Finally, the convict has compensation for procedural costs in the amount of more than 20 thousand rubles.
The subscription remains under the subscription about the loss of the departure of the sentence.
The activist announced his intention to appeal the verdict.
In the debate of the parties that took place on July 7, the prosecutor demanded for the opposition for three years with a four -year test term. In addition, she asked to confiscate the laptop of Podchasov and for three years to ban his work in the election commissions: the activist is a member of the district election commission with a decisive vote.
Before the start of the trial, bank accounts were blocked, as Rosfinmonitoring included it in the list of terrorists and extremists. At the same time, in the list of extremist materials on the website of the Ministry of Justice "Russophobia Post" is not listed.
The case against the activist was opened in March 2014, shortly before the start of the election campaign in the State Assembly of the Altai Republic. The opposition intended to move from the RPR-Parnas.
The trial of Podchassov began on February 25, 2015. Three months later, on May 25, Judge Keish at the request of the prosecutor sent the opposition to an outpatient psychiatric examination . The prosecutor substantiated his doubts about the intensity of the activist by the fact that he tried to eliminate the election violations without being a lawyer, judged history without a historical education, and did not agree with the results of a linguistic examination of the text, not being a linguistics specialist. However, the examination recognized the defendant completely sane.
Popchasov is not the only Barnaul activist who began to pursue for a reprint of the "Russophobia of the post." The case under the 280th article was also opened against oppositionist Andrei Teslenko. On April 17, 2014, the CPE operatives held a search in his apartment, at the end of which the activist was taken away for interrogation. The next day, Teslenko with his wife and a young daughter fled from Russia. In November, they received political asylum in Ukraine .
The case against Teslenko was initiated by the denunciation of the former RPR-Parnas activist Alexei Ilyin, who left the party in February 2014 as a sign of solidarity with Vladimir Ryzhkov. He demanded that Teslenko delete the publication, and when he ignored this requirement, he turned to the prosecutor, saying that he was offended by such texts as Russian. Soon after sending the denunciation, Ilyin went to study in the USA.
The anonymous author of the “Russophobia of the post”, written, as you can conclude, even before the overthrow of the Viktor Yanukovych regime, sharply criticized the “Rusnya”, calling it the “people-senior people”, and called on the Euromaidanists in case of victory “deprived of the Rusnya of citizenship, as in the Baltic states.”
