The case of Nadezhda Savchenko was sent to one of the courts of the Rostov region

The case of the Ukrainian pilot Nadezhda Savchenko was sent to the Donetsk city court of the Rostov region. This was reported on the website of the Prosecutor General's Office. It also says that Savchenko is charged with murder and attempted murder.

“According to the investigation, Savchenko, being an officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, being at the location of the paramilitary battalion “Aidar”, on June 17, 2014, in the area of ​​​​the village of Metalist, Slavyanoserbsky district, Luhansk region, conducted covert observation and adjustment of artillery shelling at the checkpoint of the militia of the Luhansk People’s Republic with civilians who were on it, including three citizens of the Russian Federation - correspondents of the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company. As a result of the shelling, two Russians were killed. In addition, no later than June 23, 2014, Savchenko in the Luhansk region of Ukraine in the area of ​​​​the local checkpoint (border crossing point) Donetsk - Severny, in violation of the established procedure for entering the territory of the Russian Federation, acting deliberately, secretly crossed the state border of the Russian Federation from Ukraine outside the corresponding checkpoint,” the Prosecutor General’s Office reports.

Previously, Savchenko was accused of complicity in the commission of a murder, but this charge was reclassified as an article about the actual murder.
