When considering the issue of paying compensation to former shareholders of the Yukos oil company, the Russian Ministry of Justice will be guided by the decision of the Constitutional Court on the priority of the country's fundamental law, the press service of the Ministry of Justice reported.
Earlier on July 14, the Constitutional Court announced that Russia could, in some cases, derogate from the execution of decisions of the ECtHR if they could entail a violation of fundamental constitutional rights.
