
On Sunday, July 19, the French multi-instrumentalist and Minimicist, Minimalist Jan Thyersen, the author of music for the famous film by Jean-Pierre, the wife of Amelie, will give a concert in the Moscow club Yotaspace.
Jan Thyersen (b. 1970) studied at several music academies, played in rock groups, wrote music for theatrical productions and short films. By the end of the 1990s he released three records and gained fame in France. World Glory came to the composer after the release of the film "Amelie" ( Le Fabuleux Destin d'amélie Poulain , 2001).
Thiersen plays on many musical instruments, among them violin, piano, accordion, acoustic and electrihitars, cello, carillone, harpsichord, melodic harmonica, vibrophone, mandolin, bandjo.
In the discography of Thiersen, ten studio albums, the last of which, Infinity , was released last year. The compositions from this album are included in the concert program in Moscow. Before the performance of Thiersen, Zero People , a site project of the St. Petersburg rock band Animal JAZ will be released on the Yotaspace stage.
