The audience held the flags of the DPR and countries whose citizens became victims of the plane crash. At the same time, instead of the flag of Indonesia, they brought the flag of Poland. In the hands of the participants of the action were posters "Kyiv, stop shooting" and "you were killed and they continue to kill us." Locals willingly gave interviews to Russian television channels and accused the Ukrainian authorities of tragedy.
There were many armed people near the venue of the rally. They explained that they were watching the order.
On Friday in Kiev, the Verkhovna Rada deputies and diplomats came to the Netherlands Embassy to honor the memory of those killed in a plane crash, RBC-Ukraine reports . They laid flowers against the walls of the embassy and spent a minute of silence.
“Today we are here in order to testify our pain, our grief for those innocent people who became part of the blood spilled in the Donbass,” said Yuri Lutsenko, chairman of the Petro Poroshenko block, “I ask you to convey our condolences and our gratitude for solidarity with Ukraine in these difficult times of the tests.”
In the Boeing-777 disaster, which occurred exactly a year ago, all 298 people who were on board the airliner died. Most of the dead, 192 people, were citizens of the Netherlands. Citizens of Malaysia, Australia, Indonesia, Great Britain, Belgium, Germany, Philippines, Canada and New Zealand were also killed.
