VKontakte has released an analogue of Instagram

The social network "VKontakte" has released the Snapster application in order to post photos with superimposed filters. At the time of this writing, it is only available for Android , but the representative of the social network Georgy Lobushkin promised that the service will appear in the App Store in the near future.

Snapster is visually very similar to Instagram and provides approximately the same features - take photos (but not videos), including rectangular ones (on Instagram you can only take square ones); view the feed of friends, which includes photos from VKontakte; and also create your own filters (there is no such possibility on Instagram).

In addition, self-destructing photos can be sent from the application, which makes it similar to the popular (more in the West) Snapchat service.
