Megafon will increase the prices in roaming

“Megafon” from July 27 increases the cost of calls and SMS in international roaming, the Vedomosti newspaper reports .

When connecting the “around the world”, the calls for calls in 50 countries will grow from 6 to 15 rubles per minute, for SMS - from 6 to 11 rubles. This applies, including, popular among tourists, such as Italy, Cyprus, Spain.

In neighboring countries, the cost of megaphone services will double. The cost of connecting the option will not change (15 rubles), the subscription fee will remain at the level of 9 rubles per day.

Megaphone will also increase the cost of mobile Internet in 26 countries from 9.9 rubles to 19 rubles per meta -data. On the page with a description of the Once World option, on the operator’s website, data on the cost of services have not yet been updated.

Representatives of MTS and Vimpelcom (Beeline trademark) told Vedomosti that companies do not plan to change the cost of services in roaming.

Since the beginning of 2015, the largest Russian mobile operators have already raised prices in roaming. So, “Megafon” since February has increased the cost of incoming and outgoing calls in Europe and the CIS by almost 70%.

In May 2015, the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) asked mobile operators to agree with roaming partners on changing mutual settlements, on which the cost of the Service for the Subscriber largely depends.

In June, the European Union had previously agreed to cancel the roaming fee on the territory of Blok from June 15, 2017.
