Finland will deploy a quick response forces on the border with Russia

Finland plans to expand the forces of quick response in four military districts on the border with Russia, reports Defense News .

The need to create a new military unit is explained by an increase in regional tension against the background of Ukrainian conflict, the American analytical publication notes

The plans for the creation of new military units in the country's quick response forces were told by Jussi Ninist, Minister of Defense of Finland, Finnish Minister of Defense. The minister called this initiative necessary to strengthen combat readiness and maintain the general defense capacity of the country.
