Miner's mother detained near the presidential administration

Vera Shikhova, the mother of a miner from the city of Prokopyevsk, Kemerovo Region, who arrived in Moscow on Friday to file a protest with the presidential administration against the fact that her son, who was injured while working in the mine, was detained in a park near the Kitai-Gorod metro station disability, activist Alexander Zimbovsky told OVD-Info. Shikhova sat with the appropriate poster in the park for several days. This morning, two unknown people with some posters sat down next to her, which was the reason to take Shikhova to the Kitai-Gorod police department. Shikhova also came to Moscow in 2013 to protest at the presidential administration. Then she managed to achieve resettlement from dilapidated housing, but the problem of her son's disability, raised two years ago, was not resolved.

UPD: Shikhova spent about two hours in the police department. She was issued a protocol under Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the procedure for holding actions). According to Zimbovsky, tougher measures could have been applied to her, but the police decided to let the mother of a disabled miner go because of calls from deputies from the Communist Party to the police department.
