The Primorsky Regional Court demanded the confiscation of the circulation of “Shock Detachments against Putin”

The Primorsky Regional Court upheld the decision of the Frunzensky District Court, which recognized the book Shock Forces Against Putin as extremist, told lawyer Pavel Marakulin, who represents the interests of the authors of the publication, RAPSI on Monday. “Today, the appellate instance recognized the decision of the court of first instance as legal and, at the initiative of the prosecutor’s office, added a clause on the confiscation of the book’s circulation to the decision,” Marakulin said. However, as the authors of the book explained to OVD-Info, the demand to confiscate the circulation is quite absurd. It was almost completely sold out more than a year ago, when the Primorsky prosecutor's office just started a lawsuit to ban the "Shock Forces Against Putin." The book by publicist Ilya Falkovsky and journalist Alexander Litoy contains information about modern terrorism and extremism in Russia.
