"Crimean": how you do not need to make festivals

Under Sevastopol on July 21, with great difficulty, the Krymfest festival began - an event with an impressive list of artists, which can be compared with the Kubana, who moved to Riga, if you only look at the poster. The festival even before the official opening managed to become famous for the slogan "Our Crimea!" and refusals to perform many artists; Closer to the point, it became known that there was not only no one to play at the festival, but nowhere - by the first day they did not manage to collect the scene. According to the Krymfesta poster, for the period from July 20 to 26 at the festival, several dozens of popular and not very groups should have performed from Aria and Naiva to Murakami, Plush Fish and other groups widely known in narrow circles. Krymfest was considered a logical alternative to Kuban, which was not happy first in the Krasnodar Territory, and then in the Kaliningrad region - a comparable composition of Russian groups, a well -known Western team, the sea.

From the side of the “Crimean”-taking into account the current agenda-looked like a patriotic event, something like a branch of the “Invasion”. The impression only intensified after the photos of the festival advertising with the slogan “Our Crimea!” Appeared on social networks. At the same time, the festival program included several punk groups, known for their anarchist views and not too loyal to power-the performance under such a slogan was clearly not part of their plans. Already in mid -July, Purgen, Distemper and Tarakans! -Someone referred to politics, someone noted the bad organization of the festival. Purgen, for example, two weeks before the concert, had no tickets to Sevastopol, a similar situation has developed in other groups. Due to Krymnash, the participation of the popular rap groups 25/17 also broke.

Closer to the beginning of the festival, it also turned out that not everything is in order with the name of the organizers. As it turned out, the Krymfest company has long been operating in Crimea, which is organizing concerts and holding a festival under the same name. On July 20, she demanded that the organizers of Krymfest stop using their brand, threatening by the court.

Almost before the start of the Krymfest festival, he lost the Infected Mushroom group, which was supposed to perform on the first day-the musicians simply could not get to the concert due to transport problems. True, they had nowhere to speak. By July 20, nothing was ready at the festival. As a result, Krymfest did not open - the organizers apologized and promised to start a day later. Indeed, by the evening of July 21, music performed by little -known groups sounded from a small scene.

The abolition of Infected Mushroom was just a beginning. On Monday, a dozen groups have been abandoned from performances, including most artists stated on Saturday - Amatory, Origami, Cockroaches and many others. Most often it turned out like this: the organizers were negotiated, promised to pay tickets, then disappeared, and the group simply could not come to the Crimea. The refusal to not lead to the changes in the festival’s poster - even now in the official group of Krymfest, VKontakte, and the performances of “cockroaches” and other canceled artists were announced.

The obvious failure of the festival attracted increased attention to Crimephast, and on July 21, the rain journalist Mikhail Kozyrev in his program tried to figure out how this is possible and what kind of people are doing the festival. The clarity was introduced by Alexander “Chacha” Ivanov from Naiva - according to him, the organizers of Krymfest are familiar to him well, these are people from musical circles, who do not use the most far from politics and nobody support. According to Ivanov, they really lack experience, with which endless failures are connected with, including the slogan “Our Crimea” (at the same time, representatives of the festival previously stated that there was nothing to do with advertising with this slogan). “Naiv” at the festival is going to speak primarily in order to see what kind of event it is and what is happening to him, said Ivanov - and promised to write a report.

It is not very clear who exactly the Naiv is going to speak for - judging by the video from the drone made over the “Crimean” in the evening of July 21, the festival is not yet very popular. In addition to the scene, there is nothing at all in the event, it all looks like an unsuccessful amateur performance, and not a place where groups with tens of thousands of fans should act.

The organization of festivals is extremely difficult and not too profitable, the overlays are inevitable, like violent criticism. The organizers of the “Crimean”, by the way, are fighting with critics with might and main on social networks, calling them trolls and envious people. From the potential replacement of the “Kuban” “Krymfest” (it was advertised under the slogan “didn’t get to Kubana? Come on Crimefest”) turned into a reality show and failed live. The public “VKontakte” festival is now being read for the sake of laughter, another public has appeared, where they collect photos and videos from the “Crimean”, poisonously jokes about attendance, the level of artists and the success of the festival. The organizer of Krymfest, Alexander Kisel, known as the ideologist of the bike-slats in Maloyaroslavets, promised to return the money for tickets to everyone and after the festival to tell how everything was actually.
