Vladimir Kvachkov disappeared from a correctional colony in Mordovia

The retired colonel of the Main Intelligence Directorate Vladimir Kvachkov, who was convicted of trying to rebel and served his sentence in the colony in Mordovia, was transferred from a correctional institution in an unknown direction. The wife of the convict accidentally learned about this.

“Kvachkov’s wife was informed in IK -5, where Kvachkov was in force from the moment he had left that he had left. Where exactly he had left and why, they refused to say,” his lawyer Oksana Mikhalkina told RIA Novosti .

Mikhalkina added that the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation also received a telegram that Kvachkov was not in colony N5. At the same time, as a rule, the place of serving the sentences to the convicts changes only in rare cases.

On Wednesday, the Supreme Court had to consider the appeal against the decision on the liquidation of the "People’s militia of Minin and Pozharsky", the leader of which was Kvachkov. The meeting was postponed on August 12. As the correspondent of Interfax reports, the judicial board made such a decision due to the fact that Kvachkov was not properly notified of the meeting.

In 2010, Kvachkova was arrested and sentenced to 13 years in a colony on charges of organizing an armed rebellion, later this period was reduced to eight years.

According to the verdict, the Kvachkov plan was in the formation of the “People’s militia of Minin and Pozharsky” (NOMP) structures “by analogy with militarized formations”. After that, they were going to capture the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergencies, the FSB and the military training center in the city of Kovrov, the Vladimir region. Then the rebels, according to the prosecution, were supposed to mobilize the local male population for a campaign to Moscow "with the aim of forcing the country's leadership to transfer to political power to the leaders of the rebels." Kvachkov himself denies all accusations.

In February of this year, the Moscow City Court recognized as terrorist and banned the activities of the "People’s militia of Minin and Pozharsky."

In June, Kvachkov’s book “Who rules Russia” was recognized as extremist. In March 2013, the court in the Vladimir region recognized the extremist book by the Colonel’s retired “The main special operation ahead”, and in July of the same year the book “The Russian Revolution is Inevitable” was banned in the Penza region.

Kvachkov gained wide fame in 2005 after he was charged with attempted attempted people in the most influential people in the Russian authorities of the 1990-2000, now the head of "Rusnano" Anatoly Chubais.
