The state prosecution required Ilya Goryachev life imprisonment
The Moscow City Court will announce the verdict to the leader of Bourn (combat organization of Russian nationalists) Ilya Goryachev, whom the jury unanimously found guilty of organizing all five murders incriminated to him.
As follows from the verdict of the board, the defendant gave the order to kill the anti -fascists Fedor Filatov and Ilya Japaridze, lawyer Stanislav Markelov, student, native of Azerbaijan Rasul Khalilov and Tajik citizen Salokhiddin Azizov.
During the discussion of the legal consequences of the verdict, the state prosecution required for Goryachev life imprisonment.
The defense believes that, despite the indictment of the jury , the court may bear the acquittal to Goryachev, Interfax notes. In addition, lawyers believe that a lifelong opinion under the law on extradition cannot be appointed from the client. “Goryachev was extracted from Serbia, there for such a crime they give a maximum of 40 years in prison,” said lawyer Nikolai Polozov.
The consideration of the case against Ilya Goryachev in the presence of the jury began on June 2. Goryachev denied his guilt.
According to investigators, in mid -2008, in Moscow, Goryachev and Nikita Tikhonov, now serving a life sentence, created an extremist community and an armed group Bourn. His goal was to kill citizens based on ideological and national hatred and enmity, encroaching on the life of law enforcement officials.
