An addition to the list of bright debutants of the year is Northern Irish youngster Bridie Monds-Watson, born in 1997. And his voice sounds like it's from around 2003. And the theme of the songs is also not exactly pubescent. It is believed that he is most interested in fairy-tale creatures and sea creatures... Oh, sorry, the reviewer looked closely at the clips - it's a girl. At first glance, she is fixated on her frustrations, which she tries to cope with by escaping into imaginary worlds. But what really bothers her is the fact that interviewers are more interested in the hardships of LGBT life than in her music itself. Judging by the reviews and interviews, they somehow immediately begin to feel sorry for her and defend her, but she does not feel depressed at all. There's definitely a light to Bridie Monds-Watson's indie folk, her songs working well with both electronic beats and old-school electric guitars. And in general, in my opinion, this is a brilliant title for the album - “Before we forget how to dream.” Suitable for everyone.
