The presidential administration will not be involved in verifying the data of the Novaya Gazeta investigation of the multimillion-dollar transactions of the FSB leaders with the land of the village of Kalchuka on Rublevo-Uspenskoye Highway. This was stated by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov, reports . Interfax
“No, we don’t and we don’t know,” Peskov answered the question of whether the Kremlin knows about this Novaya Gazeta investigation and whether they are working on this issue.
Speaking about the Novaya Gazeta investigation, which tells about fraud with land plots in the leadership of the Russian FSB, Peskov said that the Kremlin knows about the publication, moreover, the presidential administration has read it, but there will be no internal verification on this matter. “We do not work in the FSB, but in the presidential administration,” the press secretary explained.
"Novaya Gazeta" today published the material "Lubyansky on Rublevka", which is dedicated to the disclosure of multimillion-dollar transactions by the leadership of the Federal Security Service related to land in an elite area of the Moscow region. According to the investigation, the head of the FSB, Alexander Bortnikov, and more than 10 other high-ranking employees of the department could become dollar millionaires when they sold land in the village of Kalchuga on Rublevo-Uspenskoye Highway, having previously received it by distribution. On a plot of 4.8 hectares, there was a health camp for the children of KGB officers, which became the property of representatives of the top leadership of the FSB.
On July 10, the special service proposed closing public access to information from the Unified State Register of Rights to Real Estate and Transactions. The FSB explained this proposal by the fact that the information from the registry in the future "can be used for criminal or compromising purposes." It should be noted that the FSB initiative appeared after the reporters of the investigation department of Novaya Gazeta filed an official request to the service and began to meet with people who have information about real estate transactions of representatives of the top leadership of the security service.
