A charity event in favor of political prisoners, which was supposed to take place on July 30 at the Moscow club “Chinese pilot Zhao Da,” will not take place. Those gathered were informed that guests could remain in the club, but the auction could not be held. At the same time, journalist Ksenia Babich was kicked out of the club for coming in an embroidered shirt, Vladimirova reports. Like “Mediazona,” according to a member of the initiative group, Ksenia Zhivago, a local police officer came to the club before the event, asked the organizers a lot of questions, after which he called and said that if the event was not canceled, then riot police would arrive and the club’s founders would have problems. According to Vladimirova, on the street a policeman told her that he himself had called the riot police to stop the “undesirable event.”
