The missile and nuclear themes recently in the speeches of Russian politicians have become a common place. The beginning was laid by the president of the country in the film about Crimea, who returned to his native harbor. Putin’s passage about the fact that he gave the command to be prepared for a nuclear conflict against the backdrop of Crimean events is worth a lot. Then there were numerous statements about new Russian missiles that would make a useless American pro. Then Russia was announced to the duty of 40 new ballistic missiles on duty. Finally, a statement followed that Russia could be the first to use nuclear weapons against its enemies. Of course, with reservations about the fact that only in response to the threat of national security. But - the first!

Patriotic Russians for the most part greeted these statements.

I happened to be dealing with a nuclear weapon. Therefore, I can judge what is happening with some knowledge of the subject.

To begin with, none of the current politicians and generals, both in the West and in Russia, has a practical concept of the use of nuclear weapons. How all this will look, they know only on the basis of forecasts, modeling the situation and their own illusions. Nevertheless, the hands itch. Most of all they scratch in North Korea, and now here is in Russia.

By and large, there are three options for unleashing nuclear war.

The first is the use of tactical nuclear weapons against a non -nuclear country. Let's say Russia is fighting with Ukraine. Or with Georgia. Or with Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania - and cannot achieve superiority. And then he bastards a couple of nuclear shells on the enemy, say, from the Chrysanthemum system. Further development of events is predictable weakly, because the number of options with each next step grows exponentially. For example, the West, in response to Babahah in Russia, Tomagavok or B61-12 bomb. Russia is responsible for the Iskanders. Or, say, America in response beats the Minitman-3 rocket in Russia. Russia answers "Satan", it is P36-m2. And all. Requiem for humanity - if anyone will fulfill the commemorative mass. Or it may happen that after the first tactical nuclear injections, everyone will suddenly change their minds and make peace.

The second option is the use of tactical nuclear weapons against a nuclear power. This is an option for schizophrenics, because the answer will follow inevitable. In this case, the answer can be equivalent, or a little stronger. Or immediately strategic missiles. And in response, we are also strategic. And - Requiem for humanity.

And finally, the third option. The strategic nuclear forces on the enemy is sudden. Because the other - not sudden - does not make sense. You can, of course, first call the "hot line" and say: "We will launch missiles to you now!" Well, how will they believe? .. And will they be the first to go? ..

Since Russia stated that it was ready to use nuclear weapons first, let's look at this scenario: the president decides to use nuclear weapons because there is no urine to endure the immoral west, and presses the button. And the missiles soaked instantly, and rushed through the ocean, and overcame it, and in Texas cows roamed. And America was blown away, and Russia was spiritually inflated.

Alas, in fact, everything is not so fun and triumphantly. It is simply impossible to deliver a sudden nuclear blow today. That is, theoretically - yes, it is possible, but in practice - no. In the Soviet years, there was a special program of Vryan in the KGB-a "sudden missile-nuclear attack." The attack, of course, is the insidious West. The bottom line was that Soviet diplomats, scouts and sympathizing with them were supposed to monitor the possible signs of preparation for a nuclear strike on the USSR around the clock. The Secretary General of Andropov covered this program. Firstly, it has long been clear that only insane could start a nuclear war, and, secondly, other means of warning about a missile attack appeared. The system is called the SPRN. These are satellites of control of missile launches and zagrizont radar.

Russia today is not what the USSR was. The SPRN system is also not the same, but nevertheless it still works - both for them and us, and they have much better. And if there is an infection of liberalism, American cookies and the Internet, it is unrealistic to hide preparations for the nuclear strike of Russia in the West, because it is necessary to transfer missile troops out of constant readiness to increased and then full. And this means: "All to the service !!! To withdraw from the vacations! To cancel the dismissal! Prepare backup generators! Deliver to the dining room of underground storage facilities!" Well, the like.

At the same time, he sits somewhere in the gateway on the New Arbat (where the General Staff is located) the janitor Alexei. Or a janitor Ilya. And he sees: usually the generals come to the service in summer suits from Versachachi or in everyday uniform from Yudashkin, and today suddenly - in field tunic and boots ... for a reason ... And the enemy is warned, and the first to launch his missiles. What to do then? Take up to launch their missiles earlier until the enemy warheads were covered. Will we have time? Let's count.

Since the enemy is insidious, he can attack the late night. When the president and Minister of Defense are sleeping from business. And then enemy missiles rushed out of the mines, and rushed to the targets. After three or four minutes, the SPRN satellite will sew them and transmit a signal about this to the underground KP, where the general on duty sits. Nothing special will happen: no one will announce the alarm, and no one will wake the president with trifles. Because the fact of launching missiles from the United States still does not mean anything. What missiles? .. How many are there? .. Where are they flying? .. Or maybe they fly to Iran! Or to China!

But another 5-7 minutes will pass, and the missiles will cut a long -term detection radar. After a couple of minutes, their number and approximate trajectories were determined, that is, it became clear where they fly. And if it turned out that they fly to Russia, then the immediate report follows the president, the Minister of Defense and some other people. But time goes on, enemy missiles fly - at a speed of 5 kilometers per second !!!

But they reported to the president! The president knows about a missile attack! Do you think he opens a suitcase and presses a button?! I beg you ...

The President demands to connect him with the Minister of Defense. And with some persons-for a conference meeting. But finally, everyone was united, discussed, and the president’s decision was supported, and ...

And he calls the president of the officer in the form of the Russian Navy, who will always be on duty in the hallway with a “nuclear” suitcase, and in this suitcase presses the red button ... And after a second, hundreds of strategic missiles jump out of the mines, and America after 25 minutes - crane. By the way, it is clear that an officer with a suitcase is an FSB officer, but in the form of a Navy. Because the officer in black form is easier to distinguish in the crowd of close -ups rubbing around the president.

And now - about funny. Firstly, there is no button in the suitcase. There is a keyboard and several envelopes, with activation codes for the combat control system. If you open the envelope and dial this code on the keyboard, then the order to missile troops will be transferred according to the combat control system - to launch missiles (reality is even more complex and confused, but this is already a military secret). The order was transferred, he entered the command posts of the missile regiments, to the underground bunkers, in which the shift on duty sits - two officers. The shift commander sees an encoded order on the screen, opens a special safe, takes out an envelope, opens it and checks the code recorded there with the received. If everything coincided, it launches the missile of its regiment, only there will be no red buttons either. A special launch key hangs on his neck, which needs to be inserted into the socket on the remote control, and turn.

And nothing will happen, because one officer cannot launch anything, even if he received a command to start. And only two can, and each has a key, and in front of it - a nest on the remote control. Officers should simultaneously (with no more than three seconds) insert the keys into the nests and turn. These officers are sitting at the remote control at a distance of at least three meters from each other, so that none of them can independently turn both keys. Now, if they turned them, then the team went to the start.

And nothing flew anywhere, because after turning the keys the cyclogram of the launch of the missiles is launched. Tanks with fuel are deposited. Gyroscopes begin to spin, it takes this seconds for 40 ... A flight task is introduced into the missile control system - what exactly the goals are “banging” ... The mine lid opens. On-board batteries are connected ... Only after all this, powder batteries in the mine are launched, the rocket is pushed out by powder gases like a piston (it stands on a special pallet) from a container to a height of 15-20 meters, and then a pallet is dumped, engines starts, the missile starts to move-if nothing has been spilled and rustled.

And also, if the combat calculation "stupidly" executed the order for the launch. Life shows: a significant part of the officers instead of fulfilling the order for the start, begins to call "up" and ask if this is a mistake. Because it’s scary, and what if it really is a nuclear war? ..

11-12 minutes have passed since the launch of American missiles before the start of the president. As common sense suggests, to bring information to the president, to the conference, to make a decision will take another eight minutes. Then another half a minute - to bring the command to launch to the Communist Party of missile regiments. Another minute-to verify the order (if the combat calculation was fulfilled impeccably. For the execution of the launch cyclogram-another two minutes. Total-22.5 minutes. And the flying time of American strategic missiles of ground-based-25–27 minutes. The total for the departure from the blow of our missiles-two and a half minutes.

And if the president at this time saves Sterhov or Tigers, and the connection is not very? And if the combat calculation begins to call a higher KP? There will be nothing to answer America ...

Salting for the sake of saying that they have about the same procedure there in America or nuclear Europe there. Military bureaucratic.
