“Several accused concluded a pre -trial agreement with the prosecutor’s office,” said Poklonskaya. “The pre -trial agreement is when the accused fully pleaded guilty and contributed to the disclosure of the crime.” The official added that the defendants who agreed to a deal with the prosecutor’s office will be testified not only in the “February 26 case”, but also for other crimes, new circumstances or episodes.

Which of the defendants went to the pre -trial agreement, Poklonskaya did not specify, referring to the secret of the investigation.

The "case on February 26" will be transferred to court in late August - early September, the prosecutor of Crimea concluded. From her words, however, it is not clear when the defendants who went to the pre -trial agreement will be judged. Russian practice is that materials in relation to such accused are allocated in a separate production and are considered before the main case. In early May, Crimean Tatar activists said that the investigation demands from the defendants the “case of February 26” to give false testimonies for Chiygoz as the organizer of “riots” and one or two people agreed to this .
