The surveillance cameras recorded how, at half past four in the morning, a motorcyclist drove up to the base of the base and threw a bundle into the territory. A few seconds later there was an explosion, and the attacker disappeared. The explosion was knocked out by the glass of the guard, the gates were damaged by fragments. Fortunately, a security guard a few minutes before, he excommunicated the base building and therefore did not suffer.
A police explosive examination showed that a homemade device with a capacity of about 200 grams in TNT equivalent was blown up. Representatives of "self -defense" told the "faces" that the device was a bearing, but filled with damaging elements - self -tapping screws and nails.
The case was opened under the article “Intentional infliction of property damage”. "Self -Defense of Odessa" intends to seek the qualifications of a crime under the article “Terrorism”.
The Odessa Self -Defense believes that sabotage groups lead from Russia, and under the slogans of the protection of the "Russian world" against the civilian population a terrorist war sent by the Kremlin is underway.

On May 2, 2014, clashes between pro -Russian activists and supporters of the Kyiv authorities occurred in Odessa. Some of the separatists took refuge in the house of trade unions, which after a while caught fire. During the riots, 48 were killed and about 250 people were injured.
