VKontakte began to block links to Instagram after starting Snapster

In the VKontakte social network, links to records or accounts on Instagram became inactive when updating the page. When publishing a record to a microblog for a link, you can’t click. It is reported by the online publication TJournal.

When copying the link to the dialog box or in the window of creating a record on the personal page, the Parser began to convert them into the image, but not to open them. At the same time, links to other sites remained active.

“Yes, we [links to Instagram] We stop highlighting, but do not cut out. They also do not highlight links. <...> We do not touch the synchronization, ”said Andrei Rogozov, operating director of VKontakte, TJ.

Users complained that the social network began to prohibit the crossing of the link to the Instagram.com domain due to the possible content of viruses on the page. Later, the community "SMM-shows" reported that this problem was corrected.

Earlier, Rogozov, after launching the photo application, Snapster told TJ that they are going to tighten the policy regarding competing services in the social network if they interfere with the development of their own analogues of Western applications.

VKontakte launched an instagram analogue - Snapster photo application in mid -July 2015. In addition to photographs taken directly in Snapster itself, other images published by him or his friends on the social network are shown in the user's tape. Currently, on Google Play from 100 to 500 thousand people have already loaded the application.
