The court arrested Melamed's accounts at his request

The court arrested 227 million rubles in the accounts of the former head of Rosnotkh Leonid Melamed. This is stated in the statement of his lawyer Ruslan Kozois, who entered the Slon.

The document emphasizes that Melamed declares his innocence. With the proposal to arrest the amount, whose embezzlement is charged with the investigation, he turned "in case his fault and the fault of his former colleagues will be established."

“The investigation was satisfied with the corresponding petition of Leonid Melamed, funds in the amount of 227 million rubles were deposited to a special account opened in his name, and the court arrested them,” said the lawyer of the accused.

Leonid Melamed has been under house arrest from July 3. He is accused under Part 4 of Article 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (organization of assignment or embezzlement).
