Kyiv announced 240 prisoners in the Donbass

About 240 Ukrainians are in captivity at the separatists of the self -proclaimed DPR and LPR, Irina Gerashchenko, authorized president of Ukraine in the Donbass, said on her Facebook page.

“In the lists formed by the SBU in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense [the Ministry of Defense] and volunteers - about 240 Ukrainians. It is we who are transmitting them with the request of liberation, ”Gerashchenko said.

According to her, the separatists of the DPR and LPR intentionally underestimate the number of illegally held people, and Russia “generally pretends that the liberation of 11 Ukrainians, including Sentsov and Savchenko , does not concern it, despite international pressure,” the report said.

Earlier, the DPR representative in the contact group Denis Pushilin said that Ukraine and the DPR with the LPR exchanged the lists of prisoners. At the same time, according to him, 40 prisoners are in the DPR, five more in the LPR.
