The Baltic news agency (Baltinfo) stopped working. All employees, with the exception of three people, were dismissed from the beginning of August by agreement of the parties.
This was reported by the Internet publication "Paper" , noting that the last material in the "Article" section on the Baltinfo.ru website was published on July 21, and the news feed is not updated from July 24.
“Baltinfo” is a member of the Petersburg walking “Baltic Media Group” (BMG), which also unites Radio Baltika, the “100 TV” channel, the newspaper “Shift”, “Nevskoye Time” and “Evening Petersburg”.
On January 9, 2015, the founder and owner of BMG Oleg Rudnov died, after which the holding was controlled by News Media owner Aram Gabrelyanov.
In May, it became known that journalists are leaving the 100 TV channel, which is supposed to be reformatted in the Lifenews Neva news channel. According to Slon.ru , citing the chief editor of “100 TV” Sergey Shevykin, there will be about 350 employees instead of 600 in the editorial office of the new television channel.
