
On August 9, in Yekaterinburg and on August 11, concerts of the Icelandic Gusgus Electronic Electronics workers will take place in Yotaspace (Moscow).
Gusgus was formed in 1995 in Reykjavik, now there are five participants in it - Stefown Stefenson, Daniel Agust Haraldsson, Birgir Tourarinson, Urdür Hauconardotir and Hurogna Egilsson.
Gusgus had nine studio albums, the last of them, Mexico , in 2014. The music of the group is eclectic, and although it is usually attributed to techno, trip-hop or house, it often goes far beyond these styles.
In addition to their own compositions, Icelandic musicians recorded remixes of other performers, including Bjork, Depeche Mode , Moloko and Sigur Rós .
