YouTube counter will stop freezing at 301 views

Video hosting YouTube announced the abandonment of the feature, due to which the counter of views of popular videos froze at 301+. As the company explains, the service deliberately froze the counter for several hours at this value until the views were checked (this is done to weed out cheating with the help of robots).

Now the counter will immediately add those views that YouTube is sure are real, while suspicious ones will be checked by the system in parallel.
