Oleg Sentsov and Alexander Kolchenko opposed the process against the Crimean terrorists

The director Oleg Sentsov, the director and activist of Avtomaydan, made the first to speak: “Your honor, I already stated that I did not consider this court legitimate. We are citizens of Ukraine who were detained in our country. And we are judged by the falsified case. But I do not enjoy you and other participants in the process.

A lot of untruth has already sounded here, and therefore I consider it necessary to give some clarifications here, but in the future I am not going to participate in this process.

I consider myself an activist of the Maidan. But this does not mean that I am a criminal. Maidan is the main act that I have done in my life. But this does not mean that I am a radical, burned a “golden eagle” or drank someone's blood. We drove off our president-criminal. When your country occupied Crimea, I returned there and was engaged in the same volunteer work as on the Maidan. I talked with hundreds of people. We thought what to do next, but I never called for any actions that could lead to victims, did not create terrorist organizations, and all the more did not have to do with the “right sector”. ”

Sentsov said that he helped foreign journalists and blocked Ukrainian military in the Crimea, was engaged in the search for missing activists - "there was complete chaos there, we found some, there are no some, and, probably, they are already not alive."

“I talked with hundreds of people, with everyone who was ready to play for Ukraine. Of all the people who were mentioned here, I know only Gennady Afanasyev (already convicted in this case- OVD-info ) and Kolchenko Alexander. The fact that he is Kolchenko, I learned only in court. I knew him like a tundra. Then they said that he seemed to everyone as Alexander. This is not true. He is the tundra.

On May 9, Sasha Kolchenko called me and said that his friend saw how Afanasyev was detained. A few hours later, Afanasyev called me and asked the doomed voice to meet. On leading issues, I realized that he was forced to say this. I turned off the phone, but stayed in the city and continued to look for where he was. On May 10, I was detained at the entrance of my house. I was thrown into a minibus, with a bag on my head I was brought to the building of the former SBU on Ivan Franco. A very tough interrogation began, they asked me who I know from the activists, who was going to blow up the monuments. They began to beat me with their feet, arms, batons, lying and sitting. When I refused to speak, they began to use strangulation.

I saw this in the cinema many times, and did not understand how people break on this. But this is very scary, your honor. They threatened to rape me with a club, take me to the forest and bury it there. Four hours later they were tired, and took me to search. Only there I found out that these are FSB officers. They expected to see terrorists and weapons there, and found only my child - he was present during the search, which was not mentioned in the protocol. The money found is the money of my film company for the filming of the film "Rogue". "

Then he was taken for interrogation - they no longer beat there. Sentsov managed to pull out the phone and write an SMS to a familiar journalist, and inform her of the detention. Sentsov was offered to testify for the “leadership of the Maidan” - “that they gave the order to blow up the monuments, and then you will receive seven years, and if not, we will make you a leader and go for 20 years.”

According to the director, later on his searches he seized the discs with films. Especially the operatives were interested in the film "Ordinary Fascism" and the newsreel of the Third Reich.

“I told you everything that I knew. Very amazing, they found nothing either in the computer or in the phone, no ties with right -handed people. And six months later, the investigation unexpectedly found some instructions for terrorism.

Here the surname Chirniy (Alexei Chirnovy was convicted of the “Crimean Terrorist case” -OVD-info ) is pronounced more often than Sentsov. You heard that he was talking in the park. Do you think that if I do a terrorist attack, I trust it as a person like a cheese? So that he fills up everyone? We allegedly planned terrorist attacks, while I remain in the city, I am not trying to help them with anything. What is the revolutionary here? I am inappropriate.

Then another defendant, a student and anarchist Alexander Kolchenko, performed: “I do not agree and do not admit myself guilty. I did not participate in any actions in order to destabilize the situation or influence on the authorities. I did not participate in any terrorist community. I was born and raised in Simferopol, studied 11 classes at school, studied at the School of Service and Tourism, therefore I worked in the New Poshta delivery service, then I worked in the Internet polygraphs-until March 20, 2014 I worked there. Before the detention, I also studied at the Tauride National University at the Faculty of Geographical. According to political views, I am anti -fascists and anarchist. I participated in the ecological camp near Sevastopol, in the shares of the Student Action trade union and in a number of other actions.

The prosecutor asked Kolchenko about the circumstances of his participation in the arson:

- On April 17 in the morning, Nikita called me, as I later found out, he had the surname Borkin, and suggested meeting. At the meeting, he invited me to participate in this event, I agreed and we agreed to meet at 12 o’clock.

- Neither before nor after that they did.

- How did you explain for yourself the need to participate in arson?

- In order to cause material damage to this party, I did not agree with what was happening in the Crimea and that this party allowed Putin the entry of troops.

- Who told you about your role and what did it be?

- When we met with Nikita near school No. 24, there was already Afanasyev, and a few minutes later Chirniy came. Afanasyev said that he himself and I will observe, and Borkin and Chirny will be directly arson. After that, Afanasyev and I left and took positions, and Borkin and Chirny went and took arsen.

- How long did this happen?

- It happened in two minutes: beating glass and arson. Then I, Chirniy and Borkin went in one direction and parted.

-Did any organization take responsibility for arson?

- I don’t know.

-Did anyone put forward the requirements for the authorities to withdraw Crimea from the Crimea from Russia?

- Nobody on the territory of Crimea put forward such requirements. I know that the Ukrainian authorities demanded this.

- Participating in arson, did you realize the likelihood of death?

Kolchenko says that the media reports about the arson were only “on duty”, and he did not notice any reaction in society.

“I was detained on May 16, at about 5-6 pm. And after the detention at the preliminary interrogation, which was not brought the protocol, I was beaten in the face and in the corps.
