Ilya Romanov received 10 years of strict regime

Anarchist Ilya Romanov, whose trial took place in Nizhny Novgorod, today received 10 years in prison in a maximum security colony and a fine of 110 thousand rubles. The verdict almost completely copies the indictment. Romanov was found not guilty of only one count of storing and manufacturing explosives - due to the fact that he himself issued them, but the court agreed with the charges against him under terrorist articles. Romanov's defense intends to appeal the verdict.
