The court arrested the killer of six children in Nizhny Novgorod

The court was arrested by Oleg Belov, who was suspected of killing his six children, a pregnant wife and mother in Nizhny Novgorod. Thiswas reported by the Investigative Committee of Russia.

Belov is accused under Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code “The Murder of two or more persons, including a woman who is obviously in a state of pregnancy and minors.”

According to investigators, he committed the murder from July 25 to August 4. During the detention in the Vladimir region, Belov attacked the police with a knife and was wounded. He is currently in the hospital.

In the criminal case, examinations were appointed, including psychological and psychiatric. Earlier, the mother of the wife of Belov told reporters that he was sick with schizophrenia and is registered in a neuropsychiatric dispensary.

In addition, a criminal case is being investigated against the head of the district police department Alexander Volchak, his deputy Vyacheslav Nikitin, the head of the unit of Viktor Miller and the district police officers Vladimir Filimonov and Dmitry Oblivin. Police officers are suspected of negligence due to the fact that they did not respond to the appeals of Belov’s wife, who reported the beatings on his part and threats of murder.
