Sociologists argue that, according to their research, the patriotic mood of our citizens is now very high. And this, apparently, is really so. This fact is also confirmed at the household level, which I personally convinced during the recent trip to the district center.
The limits of my village of Tegro-Ozero, in the Velsky district of the Arkhangelsk region, I leave very rarely. It is understandable: the pensioner has almost no business on the side. I get a pension on the spot, I also purchase products in local stores, it is supplied with medicines for a pharmacy at our outpatient clinic. So go somewhere and in vain to spend money and I seem to be useless.
Nevertheless, sometimes there is a need to resolve some issue in the district or regional center. So this time it was necessary to visit Velsk. He hired a private trader and went on the road. On the way, they wrapped in Palkino - a tiny village next to the highway. There are no more than a dozen permanent inhabitants, well, in the summer, summer residents are guest. And what was my surprise when I saw a Russian tricolor posted over one of the houses. I had never noticed this in Palkino before. It was thought: some kind of eccentric in front of the fellow villagers is showing off.
But the same picture that day happened to see in some other settlements. State flags over individual houses were proudly re -rainched in Andrichevo, and also, if I am not mistaken, in Malaya Lipovka, Timonino. And it was not some kind of holiday, but an ordinary weekday. I suddenly realized: people began to decorate the places of their stay with state symbols because they were proud of their country.
Let sociologists and political scientists explain the reasons for the increased patriotism of Russians. I just fix this immutable fact.
