But it is clear that in such cases, as with any use of confiscate, certain abuses are inevitable. And those very liberals who are now loudly shouting that it is unacceptable to destroy sanctions products, because they can be given to the poor, if the poor distributed, they would yell louder than all that is corruption, theft, the new watches of Peskov or the Patriarch, ”he said to the Regnum correspondent.

“In order to avoid these cries, an extremely clumsy way of destruction was chosen, again borrowed from the West, where the destruction of products during economic crises is the norm. But this method is contrary to our culture, and for us as a whole the wrong one, ”explained Delyagin.

The economist noted that in fact, in Russia, sanctions trade is not prohibited: “I am sitting in the center of Moscow, a three-minute walk from the store where these very sanctions products are sold. They are forbidden to import into Russia in large batches, but if you brought a suitcase of products for your own needs, you can sell them. Therefore, sanctions products could be sold, but this would give rise to charges of corruption. And they decided to avoid this in such a very reasonable way. I think that corruption interests were played, because the construction of these furnaces for burning products is an expensive and related to mastering budget funds, ”said Mikhail Delyagin.
